Barcelona remain on top of the European Power Rankings, but it's their Spanish rivals Real Madrid who are charging upwards at at the moment.
Putting aside the defeat by Barcelona in his first Liga match, Juande Ramos's tenure at Real so far has been an absolute dream.
Since the former Spurs boss turned up at the Bernabeu the men in white have been transformed from struggling also-rans to challengers for podium places - and have now earned a perfect 18 points in their last six league matches.
The club's renaissance has also seen them charge from 12th place in the Power Rankings right up to an unlikely third, and if they carry on like they have been then they will soon overtake Liverpool in second place, thus turning Spain's top two clubs into Europe's top two clubs. It's like 2002 all over again.
Barcelona remain at the top of the tree, stretching the gap between them and Liverpool thanks to the Reds' draw with Wigan, combined with Barca's wins over Numancia and Santander.
Elsewhere the big move is a trip downwards for Juventus, whose losses away at Udinese and then, shockingly, at home to Cagliari, are the club's first two consecutive defeats since the first week of October. Juve drop to sixth.
